The amazing journey to the Balkans states and Venice

Balkans states travels were challenging, we flied from Singapore to Belgrade.
Afterwards when to see a church and when to a ruin fortress.

I  reach the hotel in Venice Hotel Noventa from Slovenia in a coach. I asked the reception, I was fortunate at night at least one hour of prayers and in the morning one hour of chanting, to ask the for directions to my destination in Venice islands, Venice consisted of around 150 islands is the main trading port during Marco Polo time in the Fourteen Century.

I need to take bus from the hotel to the railway station to the  Venice islands, for around at least one and the half hour trip there.

The morning I set out, I walk a distance as directed for more than 10 minutes which I asked a few persons where to take the bus to the  train station to the Venice islands.

Fortunately I  met a student he told me he was going to the train station too, so he brought me to buy the tickets to and back home at the store, to take the bus nearby, where he sit next to me.

On the bus he asked me various questions about Singapore. When we reach the station he direct me to the counter and explain to me how to take the train and left to take bus to his school.

When I reached Venice island I went to the counter to buy a whole day ticket for travelling whole day by boats to all the islands, I met a ltalian lady beside me who is studying tourism and offered to bring me to the island Murano.

After some time I decided to take the boat to another island Burano. After taking numerous pictures and my lunch, I decided to asked the ticketing agent which is the 3rd popular island to go. He told me Tocello island.

After taking numerous pictures, I decided to go back, fortunately I met a lady from France she assured me that she will help me all the way to back to the station where I came, as we needed to changed the boat 2 times. She asked numerous persons on the way, as she know how to speak Italian.

Later she asked me to drop at the berth of my station, and she continued her journey to San Marco in boat.

I went back to the area where I dropped from the boat took numerous pictures, look for a Chinese restaurant.

I took train back to the station near the hotel and asked the Chinese store owner beside the station, he told me to take this bus before 8 pm as after that there will be no more bus, I got to take cab back. 

So I took the bus back and went to the emporium beside the hotel to buy some snacks and the golden beer, which were specially imported from Holland, at nearly 9 pm.

What an amazing journey.

My awesome visit to Niagara Falls

Going to Niagara Falls was a dream came true for me, I seem couldn't get enough of it, even now the falls was artificially stimulated.

When we reached the Sheraton Hotel around 7 pm, after I checked in I went straight away  to take picture of the Niagara Falls.

It has 3 falls, 2 at the USA side and one at the Canada side.

I used to spent much time in my younger days at the Pelton Canal  behind my house. Naturally I like the waterfront.

When I took pictures at the Canada side of the falls, it was too misty at night,  while the slight rain increase the mist, can't take good pictures.

Went to the Sheraton Hotel and its surrounding to take pictures. Took pictures of the GBR and the upside down house.

When back to  the hotel took more picture of the falls from the window and took my favourite beer. And my favourite steam bath. Slept late as usual, tomorrow woke up early to maximize my sightseeing time.

Next day woke up early in the morning do my gongyo and rush to sixth floor for  breakfast. Behind  me is the fall.


Then went to the Canada side of the falls and took lots of pictures.

Later in the afternoon when up the Skylon Tower to take more pictures and had our lunch. And went for the misty boat ride. It was a rough ride it was raining at that time, everybody was jostling for a good view and pictures.

The adrenalin rushing trip to Neuschwanstein Castle

In my younger days, I saw a magazine of the german castles.The spectacular and magical castles fascinated me, I hope to see them one of these days.

The group  tour end in Czech. In Singapore I arranged with the tour agency to continue to travel to Munich to see the Neuschwanstein Castle on my own.

From Prague to Munich I nearly lost my way, after the tour group went separate ways on my own, I was directed in Singapore to take a train as the Singapore tour agency manager told me, as I asked the person at the enquiry counter, if by train I need to go upper floor to look at the electronic display board for the notice of the train arrival to board it.

As most people there at Prague don't speak english, they kept asking me to see the display board.

I wait until 11 pm and panic, I don't seem to see the train no on the ticket displayed on the board. and went into the train boarding area to ask.

There was a misunderstanding, which I went up myself and ask a staff there, which don't speak English, he told me to go inside the train, fortunately one person, while I was going into the train, told me this was not the train, after looking at the ticket.

So I went down to ask the enquiry counter staff, she brought me to a ticketing counter and directed me to a counter for me to decide to take a bus or train, to pay a fee to change it. My ticket supposed to choose between a coach and taking a long distance coach, we rush up, but it already gone.

So I got to go back to change the to to 1pm from 10.30 am. I reached  Munich 5 hours later, non stop on the coach and next morning walked 10 minutes to a place to wait for the coach,  which went to different locations to pick up passengers  to see the castle. http://www.neuschwanstein.de/englisch/palace/.

The tour director related the story of how the mad king was in heavily indebted ridden trying building this castle in the hair, the castle was very popular.

Even it was raining heavily yet it did not stop the huge crowd  waiting for the bus to bring them up to see the castle, I had seen the replicates of the castles in 3 Disneyland in 3 countries, this is the original one.

The inside was awesome and mystical, many come to see the exquisite crafts and objects sourced from all over Europe and the magnificence fittings.
