World Record (Free Style) Soccer Juggling Feats?

All he years since 1986 until recently finally,  Eric  to agreed he had seen me juggling a standard football 3,400 times in one hour and 20 minutes, keeping the standard soccer ball in the air, without letting it drop on the floor at Woodsville Secondary School in 1986 from the beginning to finish, in different patterns, using my body, shoulders, neck, head, back, thigh, heel instep and outstep except my hands.

Eric recently arranged a gather together with Francis  and his family of his children and wife at the Circuit Road market, we took some wefies together.

Incidentally Francis lent me the extra bicycle for the feats filmed and broadcasted in the TV few months before the record breaking feat.

I had made numerous attempts to verify it before.

Guinness Book of World Records could admit and recognise it one of these days base on different criteria or category?

The Straits Times interviewed by Janice Seah

I had wrote to Ms Jackie Chan of the then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation Executive producer now Mediacorp to verify my record breaking feats as the 2 tapes which I and my friend recorded, was damaged by mould, she agreed and replied me through  email.

The video recording of my amazing (Free Style) football juggling feats and cycling feats had been erased long time ago

It was broadcasted in 1986 in the program World of Sports, Channel 5, Sunday 10 am

An interesting meeting with the Lianhe Wanbao reporter and the photographer与联合万宝记者和摄影师的有趣会面

Last Tuesday, I finally met up with a Chinese reporter after 33 years. Where 33 ago I had  my first interviewed in the medias at 1985 by Straits Times Janice Seah, where most of my interviews were conducted  in the English with medias, with the Chinese Lianhe Wanbao reporter this is the first time, which I shared my story. We spoken mostly in Mandarin. She asked me numerous questions about my story, it was quite a long interview lasting around an hour.

It is interesting to note that I was supposed to be interviewed or broadcasted by channel 8 which never materialised in 1986, where I and my friends went down to meet the channel 8 producer at the then  Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (presently Mediacorp), last minute it was switched to the English channel 5, my feats were filmed in 4 different locations in 2 days, at East Coast Park which lined with linear metal poles, Singapore National Stadium, Woodsville Secondary School Football field and Sims Drive children playground

If it was broadcasted  in Ch 8 of my skills in free style football juggling feat and amazing bicycle stunts, I had often wondered will my destiny was different if it was broadcasted in Channel 8, the 8 pm varieties show rather then Sunday morning 10.30 am where many were sleeping?

The Lianhe Wanbao reporter and the camera man interviewed me in a variety of topic one hour at 5 pm in different locations and the photographer took lots of pictures.

My amazing story was translated by google:

Actress Xiang Yun of Mediacorp

Xiang Yun was the first batch of artistes at  the then Singapore Broadcasting Corp. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xiang_Yun

We got something in common, I heard that she help out her mom's drinks stall at certain primary school where I used to studied there.

She and me were born in the the same year and same day but not the same month.

I used to go to Macpherson CC almost every night, where she stayed just across the road,  and the coffee stall at Circuit Road, where I used to have dialogues with my friends every night and watch TV there.

I had emailed her, on and off she did replied me on numerous occasions. There were possibility  we were classmates.

I seen her 2 times, she was interviewing a person, when I was performing in the National Day Parade and another time I saw her at Bugis I want to approach her, but somehow never had the courage to.

I saw many artistes came and gone at Mediacorp.  Against all odds she still around, she must have some special qualities that enable let her stay in a not so easy industry for so long.

I wonder what are the secrets of her success, she was one of the earliest pioneer in Singapore film industry after 27 years she still consistently featured in many shows and received many awards.

I asked her which she replied in chinese; living a life silently, low key, struggle for life, and having a meaningful and wonderful life with others.

One of this day will we the have the karma to meet the 3rd time? If so she will be the second earliest schoolmates still in contact? One of primary one classmate Mike, we were still in contact.

How the likes of Zoe Tay and Chew Chor Meng, came into pictures.

In the 80s I felt that the Mediacorp  artistes, could improve further.

I wrote a letter the then called Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now Mediacorp) suggesting to them, why not hold  contests to draw more talents with good incentives and generous rewards.

Sometimes later  SBC do hold regularly contests (Star Search) to bring out the talents, and later invited various international countries, which also produce the like of Jeff Wang from Taiwan.

Maybe Mediacorp should draw furtherpotential high potential international talents like producers, scriptwriters and cameramen etc to come to Singapore, to produce international acclaimed/blockbuster films?  With more generous incentives? Another contest?

breath, energy flow and emotions
'atmosis' the term Lynza use for being in touch with a 'space'.
importance of getting out of character (it can be dangerous unconsciously. Because the mind is such a powerful tool that when a person really believe in a situation, the mind can cause the outer to manifest; which can lead to death).
