Both river sound similiar.

They are under massive developments.

Gangnam river is at South Korea high end business district.

Kallang river is Singapore largest river which under massive multi billion dollars development. Like Singapore Sports Hub, Garden by the Bay. The Marina Bay Sands.

Went to an interesting Getai

Few nights ago went to a wonderful Getai. Getai is always a special part of our culture.

It always has a special place in my heart, through the memorable years, which kindled many emotions.

Over the years the quality of the voices had improved. Some has a following in their facebook accounts.

Since young every year, we look forward to listen to our favourite songs and hear them crack some jokes.

Years ago we would climbed up the stages to watch the performers closer, as a result some stages collapsed under the weight.

Nowadays  many singers started young, they has many years of experience and their voices are powerful.

Most of the song they sing cater for the older generations. Apparently can be observed in the crowds.

I wander will they innovate and bring it to the next level. Singapore born http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanessa-Mae innovated and made a huge success out of traditional musical instrument.

Is investing an art or a science?

I had been investing in stocks for 23 years since 1990 and had gone through numerous cycles of the market.

I agreed with Peter Lynch that investing is an art more than a science. He said if it is a science accountants will be the richest persons.

Markets were driven  by fear and greed. Had it worst stocks were driven to ridiculous level inconsistent with its fundamentals. 

I went to many AGM and EGM to talk to market players to see what is really written in the annual reports.

Fundamentally sound stock were driven ridiculously cheap to 8 cts  in 1997 crash e.g. Sincere Watch had since been taken over at $2.

Jade Tech  which is a heavily lost making stock were driven from 2 ct to around 50 cts.

I had been collecting the M'sian and S'pore market  40 years ofdata.

So if a person can master and forecast the cycle of the market, can do well in stocks. 

Warren Buffett the greatest investor said he couldn't predictshort termsmarket directions.
